A demonstration, not a practice

Meridian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a fictional practice and this site is a design and engineering demonstration. No clinician named here exists. Licence numbers, NPI numbers, hospital affiliations, accreditations, addresses and telephone numbers are placeholders and are marked as such. Nothing on this site is an offer of treatment and no appointment can be made through it.

Not medical advice

Everything on this site — including the recovery instructions, the preparation instructions, the emergency triage table and every procedure page — is general information written to demonstrate how such a page should read. It is not medical or dental advice, it is not tailored to anybody, and it does not create a clinician–patient relationship.

If you have had surgery, follow the written instructions your own surgeon gave you. They take precedence over anything written here. If you are unwell, contact your own clinician or an emergency service.

Risk figures quoted on this site are ranges reported in published literature and are labelled as such. They are not the outcomes of any practice and they are not a prediction about any individual.

Forms

The referral form and the appointment request are inert. They validate in your browser and transmit nothing. Do not enter real patient information into them.

The customizer

The customizer panel changes colours, typography and business identity in your browser only, and stores your choices in local storage on your own device. A link generated by the Copy share link button encodes those choices in the URL. It does not change anything for anyone else and it is not saved on a server.

Two things are deliberately excluded from it: the emergency after-hours line, and every risk and consent block on the site. Those are safety information rather than brand, and a rebrand must not be able to recolour or rename them.

Content and images

The anatomical illustrations on this site were drawn by hand for it. Photography was generated for this demonstration. Neither depicts a real patient, a real specimen or a real clinical case.
