Meridian Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a fictional practice. This website was built as a design and engineering demonstration. It does not operate, it does not treat anybody, and it does not hold anybody’s health information.

The forms on this site are inert. Nothing typed into the referral form or the appointment request is transmitted, stored, logged or sent anywhere; submitting one runs a validation routine in your browser and stops.

What this site stores on your device

One item in your browser’s local storage, under the key meridian:brand:v1. It records the audience you chose in the header switch and any colour, font or identity settings you applied with the customizer panel, so the site looks the same when you move between pages.

That entry never leaves your browser. It is not sent to a server, it is not shared, and clearing your site data or pressing Reset in the customizer removes it.

There are no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers and no cookies on this site.

What a real practice would have to say here

A live oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in the United States would be a HIPAA covered entity, and this page would carry its Notice of Privacy Practices: the permitted uses and disclosures of protected health information, your rights of access, amendment, restriction and accounting of disclosures, how to file a complaint with the practice and with the Office for Civil Rights, and the name and contact details of the privacy officer.

It would also describe how referral records arrive and are stored, who inside the practice can see them, how long they are retained under state law, and how imaging is transferred securely between practices.

None of that is reproduced here, because a fabricated privacy notice is worse than none. This page tells you what this demonstration actually does, which is very little.

None by default. Fonts are self-hosted from this domain. Images are served from this domain. No script on this site contacts a third party unless you choose an alternative font pairing in the customizer panel, in which case that font is requested from Google Fonts — and only then.
